Violet Linx's Yarns and Fibers made a real splash in the December box with this gorgeous Aurora Borealis fiber! It's gorgeous jeweled tones ona black alpaca/silk base. So lovely!
I see there are similar braids in the Etsy shop this morning! It's so cold here in Phatfiberland, I can think of no better way to spend the day, than curled up with a blanket and spinning, or online fiber shopping! Violet Linx is a great place to do that!
To enter to win this braid, please visit Violet Linx Yarn and Fiber today, find something you love, and write about it in the comment section below. Be sure and spread the word via other social networks for extra entries!

I think I'd have to go for the baby alpaca and silk mix "Purple Sky" on the first page - it's gorgeous!!
"Pale Rainbow" is great! I love rainbow yarns....
I'm a big fan of bright, shiny colors with black. My favorite is the Black Jewels - Black Opal "Purple Sky" color. In fact, it looks like how my hair is dyed right now.
I love Superfine baby alpaca / tussah silk combed top 100g (3.5 oz) - Black Jewels - Black Opal "Queen of colors" - Made to order

Love the pale rainbow. It's so pretty
I had never heard of muga silk, so I'd be very interested in trying some of it.
Wow does she have some gorgeous spring colors! I love the unusual gradients, particularly the Wool capron sock yarn 92g (3.2oz) fingering weight handdyed handpainted gradient - Himalayan poppy.
Pinned and tweeted too.
I seem to be gravitating toward bright colors the past few weeks and the Wool capron sock yarn 92g (3.2oz) fingering weight handdyed handpainted gradient - Himalayan poppy fit the bill quite nicely!
Liked the 'Wool capron sock yarn 92g (3.2oz) fingering weight handdyed handpainted gradient - Himalayan poppy' on FB...

Bright Rainbow - Baby camel and tussah silk combed top roving. I love gradients like this; they always work into interesting projects
Black Opal 'Flame Queen' and 7 elements (special) - Fire are my favorites (today). *grin*
It was a hard choice, but I had to go with the Paradise Island merino/mulberry silk blend yarn. It's so pretty and happy.
FB'd and Pinned.
Paradise Island laceweight would make a gorgeous spring shawl!
I love ALL the black alpaca with silk braids, but especially the GREEN ones! Gorgeous!
I've had my eye on "bright rainbow" for a while - I see it on baby camel/silk right now but I'd be happy with it on any base!
I also really like the capron sock yarn in "lilacs in sunshine" Sooo pretty.
Fire opal is amazing.
I would have to be the Black Jewels-Flame Queen.
I love all the baby alpaca lace weight but they are so pretty I can't choose just one color!
The Queen of Colors is gorgeous!
I love all the long gradient colorways! I think my favorite is the purple "Yak optim merino and tussah silk combed top roving" in Spirit. I think it would make a gorgeous little shawl!

I like the bright rainbow on baby camel/tussah silk-looks scrumptious!
They are all absolutely gorgeous, but I'm drawn to Black Jewels - Black Opal "Queen of Colors" because it has everything I love in it.
Wow, what beautiful colours... I love them all but especially the cashmere, extrafine merino and tussah silk pink gradient: 'Love' indeed!
There all AMAZINGLY beautiful, but the Black Jewels braid is definitely my favorite :)
The Black Jewels - Black Opal 'Forest Prince' is just stunning. It absolutely glows!
It's funny, I'm not usually fond of mixing black with bright rainbow colors, but in my mind's eye I can see how those Black Jewels fibers will blend into a breathtaking dark shimmer of color. My favorite is the Black Opal "Sea Princess" colorway, on baby alpaca and silk! I can see it spun up into a deep, mysterious and subtle ocean, with the halo of the alpaca forming a dark mist over the bright waters…
Okay, now I'm getting too poetic.
I love the softness of the colors in Llama and tussah silk - 7 elements - Water
Oooh. The Old Plums handspun takes my breath away! This is why I knit -- to be able to work with fiber that looks like this!
Purple Sky has to be my fav!
It is quite tempting to list the whole shop as my favorite. But if I had to pick just one right this moment I'd go with the Yak optim merino and tussah silk combed top roving - Spirit. So beautiful!
Fire opal - extrafine merino/mulberry silk lace weight handdyed yarn looks gorgeous!
I love love the Paradise Island 100% Mulberry silk! I'm a sucker for anything that is so bright lime green! All your colors are great, especially the blends with black in them.
My favorite one is this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/118848228/superfine-baby-alpaca-tussah-silk-combed
I would LOVE to have some of this to spin up. Not only is the color gorgeous, but I'll bet that it would be a joy to spin!
I'm loving the Black Jewels - Black Opal "Purple Sky" alpaca/silk top. Gorgeous colors, and it looks sooo soft!
I am loving the Lilac in Sky braid.
laceweight fire opal!
I LOVE the Bright Rainbow colorway! It would be so cool spun up and knitted into a scarf or shawl!!
There's so much to love. I am really feeling the pink gradient merino wool, I pinned it too.
Love the Rosewood baby alpaca/tussah silk!
The "Sea Princess" braid is just amazing!
The Fire Opal lace weight is fantastic!
There are a bunch in the shop like that, witht he black base and the jewel tones. Lovely! Ooh, even a pastel version. But I can't spend money right now! Maybe I should just win some?
Hard to choose, but I'd pick the Black Jewels-Black Opal "Purple Sky." Love some of the oranges and greens too, though...
I purchased some of the black jewel sapphire for a friend but truly love the black jewel amethyst for myself, it is beautiful

There are several very pretty choices, but I really love the baby camel and tussah silk braid of fiber in the color way OOAK, I love the blues and how she left the original color of the top showing too! I also really loved some of the gradients, but the colors in the OOAK really caught my eye. I was a little surprised that the seller is in Russia, but I really like the types of fiber she sells. A lot of them I can't buy from my current favorite dyers, so that's a big plus. I also really loved what she did with some of the fiber! She has a good eye!
The giveaway braid is beautiful! I love so many of the colors in the shop, but I'm always a sucker for rainbow. So I'll have to say the bright rainbow is my favorite. It would be so fun to spin!
I love Bright Rainbow and Rosewood. Gorgeous!
the colourways are fantastic. where to start. but Superfine baby alpaca/tussah silk combed top roving in - Black Jewels - Black Opal "Purple Sky" is wonderful

I <3 Bright Rainbow - Superfine baby alpaca and tussah silk combed top roving. This is a fantastic rainbow and in such a yummy blend!
The most lovely one: "Cashmere extrafine merino and tussah silk combed top roving 94g (3.3oz) handpainted fiber - 7 elements (special) - Love"
Okay, I decided I liked it enough to pin it too. http://pinterest.com/pin/100979216617008276/
I love a lot of those baby alpaca/silk colorways; I think my favorite is Black Opal "Flame Queen."
I love anything Rainbow by Violet Linx! I would love to try the baby alpaca/tussah silk rainbow sometime!
My favorite is the Superfine baby alpaca / tussah silk combed top 100g (3.5oz) - Mother of Pearl - Black Jewels - Made to order. The color are perfectly captured. They remind of abalone shells my mother used as candy dishes when I was a kid in the 19(mumbles a distant decade)s. Thanks for the giveaway.
I love the jewel tones on the black alpaca fiber, but the fire opal extra fine merino/mulberry silk lace weight yarn is very pretty.
http://pinterest.com/pin/263601384411721462/ Pinned it.
I like the 100% Royal baby Alpaca 2 ply lace weight hand dyed and hand painted yarn in the colorways " Violet Pansies and Magnificant Purple".
Of all the colors, I actually love the Aurora Borealis giveaway braid the best. The Aurora really can look like that, if you're lucky enough to catch a good show.
So hard to decide! I really like Superfine baby alpaca/tussah silk combed top roving 100g (3.5oz) fiber - Black Jewels - Black Opal "Purple Sky".

Superfine baby alpaca and tussah silk combed top roving Black Jewels - Black Rainbow. YUM!! I've had several hanks of this fibre in my favourites since I started nosing through all the yummy stuff in the Phat Fiber Box thread on Ravelry! <3 Lurve the rainbows!!!
I absolutely love the giveaway fiber. beautiful!
the black jewels fibers are really cool! thanks for showing a new etsy fiber shop!
Oh man, I love all of it so much! But the Black Opal "Queen of colors" is one of my favorites!
They're all so beautiful! The kid-mohair-and-tussah-silk-combed-top in Fire is one of my favorites.
Black Opal - Queen of Colors has a gorgeous subtle glow of colors. In baby alpaca and silk it probably spins up with a lovely lustre.
I'm torn between the Black Jewels-Black Opal "Forest Prince" which meets my need for greens, and the 21 Micron Merino-7 elements-"Spirit" which meets my Purple addiction.
So hard to choose! But I think I'd have to go for the Rosewood, baby alpaca and tussah silk top.
It would have to be the Capron Sock Yarn in Himalayan Poppy. It's the colors of my own website! I'd so make something with that.
OMG, I am in love with the colors of Superfine baby alpaca/tussah silk combed top, Black Jewels - Black Opal "Queen of colors"...just Ah-may-zing!
I love Violet Linx!
Cashmere extrafine merino and tussah silk combed top roving 94g (3.3oz) handpainted fiber - 7 elements (special) - Love
This one is my current fav (although I love the black jeweleries too). I'm normally really not a pink fan and would go for one of the delish rainbows, but this would make an awesome spin and a truly gorgeous gradient shawl!

I love the sock yarn just as much as the beautiful fiber!
I've had Bright Rainbow on my favs list for a while now :D
I love all of the Black Jewels fibers, but my favorite is the Aurora Borealis. It reminds me of home (Alaska)
