This will probably be the last Hilltop Cloud fiber I feature on the blog for quite some time, so let's everyone take a nice look at what is happening over at the Hilltop Cloud shop!

If you're looking for expertly dyed fiber on gorgeous bases, please spend some time at the Hilltop Cloud shop! I am particularly fond of the "Blue Tit" bird inspired fiber she has currently!

We will count your extra social networking on pinterest, facebook, ravelry, twitter, plurk, google+ etc as entries! Please let us know where you "pinged".

I think my favourite is the Shetland Roving, Shetland Merino Silk - Peacock Roving, 100g.

What *don't* I love from Hilltop Cloud? Today the Katherine of Aragon and the Moorhen braids that catch my eye the most. And I can't get over that owl-patterned spindle case with the natural background -- too cute!

I have these and some other Hilltop Cloud braids and batts pinned on my Spinning & Fibre board at Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/owldaughter/spinning-fibre/

When offered 2 things, it's so hard for me to choose just 1. I often say I am a "both" type of person, so the Birds Collection Sampler- Blue tones is just perfect for me!

I like the "Rainbow Sprinkles" Blended Roving Sample pack, 160g, BFL, Bamboo, and Merino.

HeidiAussie said...

It is really impossible to choose one item from the HTC shop, so here are my top 3:
1) Drop spindle bag - varied fabrics, covering a plastic drink bottle that protects your spindle (fits a Golding 3 inch);
2) Southdown top (not Babydoll) - springy & takes dye beautifully, socks made from it can machine washed!; &
3) Light rainbow Shetland/tussah silk blend - dream to pre-draft, looking forward to spindling it.

I will miss Hilltop Cloud in the features.
I have always eyed the Beginner Spinner Kits! I need to take the leap and buy one but i am not brave yet. Hrr colors are always gorgeous and the naturals really always look so beautiful.
Hope for this one and then one day i will commit to learning myself rather than having someone else spin... i want to learn the barber pole style like her Chintz handspun. Lovely!
