Sarah Kate Fibers Handspun Giveaway!

You may remember seeing the pre-beaded plying cord in this month's preview video- Sarah Kate fibers is now offering these genius time savers!! I know personally, the thought of stringing loads of beads on to a plying thread has often deterred me from trying this spinning technique!

I recently purchased a batt from Sarah Kate Fibers and spun it during Tour de Fleece. It was so wonderfully carded and the dyeing was superb! Looking at this Mother-Daughter team shop has really blossomed in the last couple of months, I can't stop drooling when I see the cantaloupe batt!

We're giving away this beautifully spun and bead-plyed handspun yarn! It's hard to tell from the picture, but the beads are a gorgeous iridescent blue! Please visit SarahKateFibers and find something that speaks to you, please come back and write it in the comments section below. We'll be drawing for a winner later in the week so be sure and FB,twitter, plurk or blog about it to gain extra entries!

I have to say, one of the hardest things about these giveaways is not finding something I like, but having to choose! I will definitely have to check out the prestrung beading cords... interesting.

Also RT'ed and FB'ed.

I'm surprising myself here, by being rather interested in the 'Leotards and Tutus' batt! Maybe its the upcoming 'Steampunk' theme that made me zero in on the pink & black.

I think my favorite thing was Cotswold Blend Hand Carded Batt..Not just because of the delicate coloring or the supple texture..But because it reminded me of my mother.

blackberry yogurt is well named... I love the pink and blue batts... and the big top might be my favorite, although people tell me that ones with so many colors won't spin up right and will turn out muddy... but it has to be possible, right? ... I like it all :)
