WC Mercantile Trip!

Just back from a whirlwind trip to Texas! We did the Alamo, we did Mi Tierra's and Market Square in San Antonio. We experienced weird Austin, but the highlight of the entire experience was the best little wool shop in Texas- WCMercantile! After we did our marketing seminar( which was held in the middle of a historical downtown building, and I thought that was amazing!) we stuck around and got to know Stephanie and her mother Petra a little better while we shopped. It was an amazing experience to be able to meet several phatties like Southern Mystic, Garilynn, and Spindipity and speak with an Alpaca breeder who was one of the very first pioneers of Alpaca in Texas.
I will make special mention of Katie of Sandy Hill Farm (the young woman in the orange shirt in the second photo) as she has brought Pygora to Texas and we all expect great things from her in the future!

It was just an amazing experience and the people were so talented and wonderful! We are already looking forward to our next trip and we still need to unpack!
Thank you WCMercantile for hosting a wonderful event!

It was so wonderful meeting Jessie and Marcus. We got a moment or two to speak and then I had to run off because DD and DH were bleating with fear and hunger :)

It was great! I'm glad I had the opportunity to go. Wow I look like a dork in that picture ... but that's my natural state. Ah well! It was really nice meeting you all!c
