BlueBonnet Hills Alpaca Giveaway and Contest!

Beautiful Texas Alpaca Fiber at it's best! I'm so excited to both offer this gorgeous natural brown baby alpaca (from Salina Rose) and tussah silk drum carded batt for a giveaway! Yum! What a delightful spin this will be!

Did you notice I said giveaway and contest? That's because Bluebonnet Hills Alpacas is having a name a cria contest! So this post is like a two-for. Visit their shop and first take a look at all the yummies they have to offer. Then, come back here and post which is your favorite in the comments section. That will enter you to win the delectable fiber pictured above. Next, visit their farm website for details about how to win a beautiful alpaca scarf just for coming up with a name for one of their new babies- did I mention they have adorable cria photos up there too? Have fun!!

Those batts all look so lovely! Nevertheless, the natural colors are still my favorites, especially Aurora's royal alpaca roving, the silver gray alpaca/merino blend, and baby alpaca roving in gray.

Clicked onto the link to the shop and there it was! Right there in front of me! Somewhere over the rainbow! The most deliciously beautiful colors that remind me of the very top of the rainbow where, at times, the colors are more pastel, and of sunrise over a pond with all those pinks reflected in the water like I used to see it when I was a child at Girl Scout camp. Ahh the memories that brings! I will own that color, I will. It is too beautiful!

Gorgeous fibre! Now that I've started my foray into spinning, I'm drooling over all the fibre too, not just the yarns anymore... I love the one you're giving away, and the Lavender Sky Alpaca batt just jumped out at me as soon as I looked at the store. That's pretty much my favourite colour.
