Silver Sun Alpacas Drop Spindle Kit Giveaway!

Whew! We drove most of the day to get away from the blizzard that is sweeping across country! I think we may be in safe territory now- or at least perhaps we won't get sacked as hard as other places! Times like these make me really glad I know how to spin, because it comes in handy for entertainment (and warmth) purposes when the power is out.

Ricky from Silver Sun Alpacas has sent in a gorgeous spindle kit giveaway! It's slightly different than the one pictured, but you will get a spindle, instructions, gorgeous alpaca fiber all in an organza bag. Perfect for beginners and experienced spindlers alike!

I adore Silver Sun Alpacas- especially Ricky's batts! For some reason, she's always got just the perfect amount of sparkle and softness!

What do you like in Silver Sun Alpacas shop? Let us know in the comments section, and you'll be entered to win this beautiful spindle kit! Make sure you let your friends on Facebook and twitter know about this! You'll get extra entries for social networking.

I'm not usually a red/pink person, but the way they're handled here are too lovely! Garnets and Pearls is almost too pretty in roving form to even want to make into yarn.

i like the spindle kit with the fire red spinning fiber. i used to spin years ago, but would like to learn again. never used a spindle, had a spinning wheel before.

alicats mom said...

I am strangely drawn to los olivos. some thing about the sheen of the fiber and the shade of that green is exquisite. I am just a beginner with a spindle made with a cd but I can just imagine this fiber's beauty once it is spun.

I love the sparkle in all the batts, but am crushing on the Arthur batt. I've never been one for sparkly things, but since I've learned to spin, I feel like I can really explore the sparkly side of my personality without it getting too disco, if you know what I mean ;-)
