Breezy Ridge Alpacas Baby Suri Fiber Giveaway!

Breezy Ridge Alpacas is within a few hours drive of me- so sort of local! It's always nice to support local fiber whenever you can and so I would like to take the time to showcase this beautiful lavender heather suri alpaca that Connie has sent in for a giveaway.

One of the things I really admire about Breezy Ridge Alpacas is all of the natural colors that are available. The black alpaca is a true deep rich black black. It can be hard to find natural black without a lot of brown in it, but I was amazed when I saw the Breezy Ridge black!

To enter to win this beautiful 2.3 oz of suri alpaca fiber, please visit Breezy Ridge alpacas, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below. Please twitter/facebook/blog/plurk for extra entries!!

Goodness, that's beautiful!
What I'd buy if I had the money and facilities is High Alpine Trixie (it looks like she's got two heads on that first picture, double the fun :) )
In the absence of that kind of money, I think I need the Rich Reds yarn or the Fire Night Batt.

Gonna have to go with the sura alpaca lace weight yarn in the Peacock colorway. But there are several Phibery things I'd love to take home from this store! The Magic and Bourbon yarns to name two.

I often use tiny bits of odd colors that I've had to dye myself, so white fiber tends to catch my eye. But the teal suri/merino/bamboo looks wonderful! Bookmarking the store!

First choice: Stone Brook's Flame by Lego. If I can't have an alpaca, then I'll pick The "Fire Night" suri batt.

There's a really gorgeous Alpaca/Merino/Tencel batt in chocolate browns and turquoise in the shop right now. Those are not only one of my favourite colour pairings, but it's also a reminder of the 10th Doctor ... and he's kind of a hottie...

After a long discussion with my husband I cannot wish for an alpaca - the balcony is just too small :-(

So I have to settle on some Suri Alpaca Washed Locks in Natural Black
