Hilltop Cloud "champagne" Wensleydale giveaway!
Oooh am I excited about this giveaway! Some gorgeous "champagne" Wensleydale from Hilltop Cloud!! This beautiful fiber was dyed naturally using herbs by the lovely Katie in Wales. I really love this color, it's hard to describe, but "champagne" is the closest I can come :)
Hilltop Cloud is a beautiful shop, and I think this is the first time I've featured it on the blog? Well, you're in for a treat! Lovely, beautiful, natural British sheep breeds available here for experimenting with! Katie is only a couple of sales shy of 500!! I'd love for us to make up the difference for her :)

The Gray Suffolk Roving just went into my favorites.

The Black Welsh is very intriguing, but so is the BFL Camel. Gorgeous fiber!

Ooh, so many breeds I've never tried! I'd love the massam, the suffolk, the welsh mountain... The dyes wool is beautiful, too! Love the greens.

I love the variety in this shop! My favourite has to be the BFL Alpaca and Seacell in that yummy (natural) caramel colour.

Oh wow, there is so much I need in this shop! One thing that caught my eye was "Wool Silk Roving- British Jacob, Silk, Spinning Fiber 100g Top British Breed".
I really love the British Breed Spinning Fiber Sampler, 9 different natural shades of wool.
I love the shetland merino silk in Dijon. Such a warm gold.
I <3 this shop! Especially the undyed fibres and the hand blended rovings, but the Harry Potter themed bumps are the best.
I love the concept of this Etsy shop! I would go for the Jacob roving in either the gray or black! Lovely!

I love Katie's shop, I have bought repeatedly from her and the fiber is fantastic!! If I had to choose just one thing I guest it would be Felix Felicis Yellow Spinning Fibre, at this time of year it would be great to spin a reminder summer!!
I love all the different breed selection! I am not too sure why but I have been interested in trying texel wool, it is very tempting

Just getting into natural dyeing myself. Love the British wool fiber sampler. All the colors in one package to try.
I like the Gray Massam, the champagne and the sampler.
I love the Naturally Dyed Yarn- BFL Wool, Bilberry in 'Adlam'.
I loved the BFL Wool- Sock Yarn in Peach Birch Bark. Naturally dyed colors appeal to me.
Evening roving is lovely
So many pretty colors! But I was really drawn to the luscious gray Jacobs fleece silk blend roving.
I love the color and luster of the Teeswater. It looks so soft and lush. As I'm a new spinner I didn't really know anything about this breed, but I just did some quick research and it appears that their fleece is as soft as the sheep are pretty!

I have to say my favouritest favourite in her shop is the British Black Welsh Mountain and Silk Blended roving dyed in her dark rainbow colourway...and of course, all her lovely Wensleydale! :D

I've never tried Devon Longwool before so would love to try that. I also like her Clementine and Honeycomb batts.
The Black Welsh Mountain looks very nice. It looks so great in it's braid. My favorite part is the color, and that's just from looking at the picture!

From the shop my favourite is the Dark Rainbow Roving (which I have been promising to buy myself in the new year). Black welsh mountain and silk in that gorgeous rainbow of colours.... yummy.
