I love the handknit hats that they have. Also the yarn that is such vivid colors. Very beautiful. I love when they have a variety of things to purchase.
So much beautiful fiber, so many gorgeous fleeces and hand-dyed braids and yarns, and what do I like?
The white merino blend.
It just looks so soft!
I will always always go for the purples. This Alpaca Roving - Sapphire and Plum Spinning and Felting Supplies - 4 ounces is really pretty.

The baby Alpaca in Halloween Orange caught my eye. It looks so soft. I usually don't lend toward orange, but this looks very pretty.
Did you see the lovely space dyed yarns? I am making a little savings pot to pick some up and use like ikat in weaving....
Also this roving- http://www.etsy.com/listing/81510507/alpaca-roving-hand-dyed-blue-plus

I love the chestnut brown roving...although there wasn't anything there that I didn't like! Pretty, pretty stuff.
"Hand dyed Yarn - Alpaca and Merino" caught my eye right away. A modular scarf, maybe?

I love the Washed Light Fawn Alpaca Fleece from Snickers. It is beautiful!
There is a lot in the Esty shop...but I love the Drum Carded Batt, what fabulous color!
I love the feel of alpaca but haven't had the chance to spin it yet so I think my fav would be the saphire and plum alpaca roving.

I really want some of those socks... I would love some washed fleece too.
I love the green, teal and purple alpaca and merino worsted yarn.
I like the chestnut brown roving!!
The charcoal Gray Suri and Huacaya blend roving looks like a dream to work with.
Second (or third) the opinion that Maple's fibers are the best! Incredibly soft and lovely. Matter of fact, if you look at them cross-eyed, they spin themselves!
Hope I'm not giving away any industry secrets. Happily take anything from her that she has to offer!
Ooh, I want Peace Lily's fleece!
I posted on Facebook too, the name is Maya Remblai. I only posted it on my personal wall, but I have a business page too. I figured Facebook only counts once though. ;P
I've been eyeing the swirled alpaca roving. I love the natural color. (SilverRayven)
<3 the Sapphire and Plum Spinning roving.
I love the swirled alpaca roving!
I love the batts in this listing: http://www.etsy.com/listing/88574241/carded-alpaca-batts-for-spinning-3.
Pink and white, just beautiful and my colors. Also like the rosegrey alpaca roving.
It's so hard to pick a favorite anything from Maple's shop! She does such wonderful things. So far, I've only gotten roving from her, so this time I'll say I really love the baby alpaca yarn (250 yards, bulky). It looks so smooshy!
Alpaca Roving - Hand dyed Blue plus Natural Brown and White! I love how they kept the natural color while still adding the blue.
I just finished spinning some natural alpaca and the purple and red dyed alpaca has caught my eye. I can't wait to spin some more alpaca.
I love the golden brown alpaca roving - one of my favorite colours.
I would love to try some of Arria's Suri fleece! I have yet to try spinning some lovely suri. Would be so much fun!!

I have been a NStar fan for a while. I find it really difficult to pick just one "item". I actually think the coolest part is being able to read the posts about your real alpacas that made the fiber to begin with! And I love all your dyeing posts-I never realized you could dye in crockpots.
Naming one thing that I love is impossible!
I love all of the baby alpaca fiber..... it makes my handspun yarn so incredibly soft!
And I love Meredith's potholders, and that you list them here for her.
And then there's YOU!
Merry Christmas!!
Julie
I love pretty much everything in this shop :)
That alpaca/angora sounds like it would be amazing! I also like the Chartreuse from Trinity, such fun colors and the yarn spun up from it looks pretty too
I love love love the Alpaca Batts Drum Carded. So pretty.
OK, I really love the colors in Alpaca Batts - Drum Carded - 4.4 ounces in the purple/pink/black combo. Lovely!
Karen aka purplepenguin
First, I love that they list the alpaca's name in the description! That's so neat and brings it back to the fact that there's an animal who is producing the fiber for us. It's a natural link that I often overlook when I purchase my fiber for knitting.
I also really loved the colors in the carded batts! They're so shiny, which surprised me, in a very good way.
The last thing I thought I'd mention is that it's great to have another option for those who are allergic to wool. This is a fiber I'd consider luxurious and perfect for spoiling the special knitters in my life.
Yum Yum Yum!!! I'm addicted to Maples' gorgeous raw alpaca - I use it in all of my shop batts too, because THAT's how wonderful it is!

Peekaboo's fleece! As Maple can attest, I am a total sucker for her fleece and have made many many projects from it!
I love the big fat white yarn.
I also love the fact that they took pictures of the product out in the snow. It made me want that scarf even more!
Its not hard to find something nice to say about the shop! I particularly love the alpaca batts, there was a purple one that really grabbed me! Love it :)

The absolute nicest thing about North Star Alpacas is Maple herself. I just met her today, but already feel that we're good friends. In our Etsy convos we have discovered that we have several things in common - including both being Aquarians! I love all her fibers and look forward to buying many as I learn to spin! I also love the pics of the beautiful llamas and alpacas.
I love the Charcoal Gray Suri and Huacaya Blend Roving - 4 ounces as well as the knitted Cowl and Snood in white. I also like the green alpaca/merino sock yarn too! I love alpacas. Thay are so cute!

Isn't Maple's Alpaca Handspun Yarn - Natural Brown - Worsted Weight gorgeous. I love her fibers and yarns.
Joe's black fleece looks great! I love the visible crimp. I agree, it should "grip" and spin nicely.
The blue fiber looks just lovely. I'm just learning to spin and would love almost any of the roving available :)
I think I just love everything Maple makes, ever. I love all of her swirled rovings in particular, but I think the next thing I need to get off her is some of that hand dyed alpaca sock yarn ;)
