Yesterday, Maine Cottage Creations introduced new wooden yarn bowls to the shop. I am trying to figure a way to let Marcus know I would really enjoy getting one for Valentine's Day :) There is talk of listing more soon, so we may have lots to choose from shortly!

I love the simple hair stick/shawl pins. I doubt my hair is long enough now, but I used to hold it up with a pen when I was working. A pretty stick would be so much more grown-up.

I find myself needing bright colors to spin this winter - so the CITRUS merino/silk is really speaking to me! I also like the DA SEA merino. What can I say, I'm a greens & blues kind of girl.
I'm looking through all of them and I still think my favorite is the silk/merino brick in Wedding Dress. Would love to spin it up to make a shawl for my wedding day this summer :)

The Au naturale Wool Silk Spinning batt with like a zillion different fibers in it seems like it would be quite an interesting spin.
I adore the bowls and crave the XS batt, but broke the fiber diet to order the brick of "Wedding Dress" to make a wedding shawl for my future daughter-in-law. My son is getting married this fall and I have been looking for just the right yarn to knit her a shawl. When I saw the fiber here, I thought, if I am lucky enough to win the give-away I will make a bigger shawl, but if not, I had better order while there is some there!
Everything in the shop is drool-worthy, but the bowl is definitely my new favorite!
I got a sample of this in my January fluff box; it was AMAZING to spin. Currently on the site, the "Heart Me" batt is just stunning; such a beautiful deep red, and so much sparkle!

I think the XSive Art Batt HEART ME Sparkle Textured Batt in Red, Green, Pink is soooo exciting looking.
I wish I could get my hands on some of the Icelandic locks, they look so SQUISHABLE!! And the colors in the Gold Christmas milk protein aren't usually my go-to, but something there caught me pretty hard. :)
wow! Of course the yarn bowl is lovely and awesome, but I am especially intrigued by the tailspun skeins. The blue/gold skein is beautiful and seeing the finished scarflette (also for sale) really helped to show how beautiful such a unique yarn can knit up.
