North Star Alpacas Yarn Giveaway!

How about some bright and cheerfully sunny yarn from NorthStar Alpacas to lighten the day?! Maple dyed some beautiful yellow yarn with looong color repeats for December's box, and her yarn is so very soft! Alpaca + Merino = heaven!

Maple is contributing to January as well! Just about anything in her shop would be ripe for the "Luxe" box, but I am especially loving the angora handspun. Yum!

For a chance to win this beautiful yarn, please visit North Star Alpacas, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below. Extra entries are awarded for those of you who update their social networking: twitter/facebook/plurk/pinterest to help spread the word!

I love so much stuff in that store! I especially like that they have taken the time to include information about the individual alpaca whose fleece is in each product. Joe's chestnut roving is beautiful and I am tempted to snap it up to try my hand at spinning alpaca!

Not usually one for sparkly-bits, but Cranberry Bog is such a cute colorway. Hodgepodge is also nicely unusual... and like others, I *love* the personal notes on all of the yarn, who made it and whose fiber it is!

Alpaca. Silk. Handspun. You had me at silk. The gorgeous periwinkle-y color makes me want it even more for a simple, airy summer scarf (double-knot stitch, perhaps)?

Really love the handspun hand dyed alpaca in the blue grey colorway. But do I have to choose just one? And the pics of the alpacas with their skinny necks are too cute!

I love her fiber and the socks that she often has, but my current favorite item is the "Gray Alpaca/Merino Top."
