Jennifer at Queen Conch Rare Breeds sent us a fun little Old World Dye Kit for giveaway this month. She included a bit of fiber to dye as well as full instructions to dye with black walnuts.
She sells black walnut hulls in her etsy store. She also has many wonderful rare breed fibers that you can use to pad your stash!
I have dyed with walnuts before and I enjoyed the process. You can get beautiful blacks, browns, and creams with this natural dye. If you've never tried it before, I highly recommend it.

There are so many breeds in this shop that I haven't tried yet! The Educational Wool kit might be the way to go for me because it includes samples of 10 different breeds and information on their history. I love this idea!
