Susan's Kitchen double giveaway!
Last month, Susan's Kitchen contributed some amazing samples with a unique interpretation on "All Creatures Great and Small". Susan chose to use the 'literal' interpretation and draw inspiration from James Herriot's books.
Susan's Kitchen is another shop with a look that a lot of idiosyncratic listings- something I find quite appealing when buying hand dyes. Her shop has a beautiful warmth about it- even her cool colors seem to glow! I especially loved her April Phat Fiber samples though.
Today we've got 2 Susan's Kitchen large versions of her April samples for 2 winners! The Tristan drum carded batt is a beautiful blend of romney, honey tussah silk, camel down, angora and a sprinkling of angelina. The Sparkle Fluff pack is a gorgeously springy blend of longwools, mohair and plenty of shine!
Please visit Susan's Kitchen today. Find something you love, and write about it in the comments below. We'll be awarding second entries for those of you who use social networking to spread the word about Susan's shop. We'll be drawing the winners later in the week, so be sure and check back to see if you've won!

Blueberry squish sock yarn is fantastic. That is exactly how I imagine my socks would look if I walked over a bunch of blueberries.
I went to the shop and immediately added the Pansies BamAlWool combed top to my favorites. Some of the batt sets, like Tristan or Rose Gold, are very tempting. I could have mentioned several other items too!
I love her leftover batts!
I love the Fall In - BamAlWool fiber. It looks as soft as butter.
I love the Blueberry Squish and the Rose Gold!!! Wonderful colors! Have "hearted" her shop!! Now off to share on my facebook page!

My daughter was immediately drawn to Phuket Sunset. I got to spin a Tristan sample from April and it was gorgeous!

I like how she has some things both spun and unspun, so you can see how it'll turn out. (I have a very bad imagination, so I can't visualise the finished product well!) For a specific thing, probably end of sunset or green streak.
I really like Red, Gold, Peach, Gray - Handdyed Mohair Locks
I love the Shaded Forest - Merino Wool Combed Top Spinning Fiber- very cool and unusual color combination.
The Envy Corredale roving looks scrumptious!
Love the thought of the bamboo/alpaca/wool blend! But this time, Berry Patch - Panda Bamboo Wool Nylon Combed Top really caught my eye!
Oooo Vintage Garden Corriedale! Pretty. :)
poison apple and envy fingering, aqua and chartreuse markers, so many fiber batts catch my eye!! Very nice large selection of lovelies!

The Mermaid and Springtime Sparkle Fluff look devine! Must have them!
phuket sunset is so pretty
So much to look at and very hard to choose one thing, so I went to my favorites and noticed I had two listed from Susan's Kitchen-- the Tristan batts and Evening in Spring batts. Both are beautiful.

It looks like my comment got lost in the ether. If it shows up twice, please delete the repeat.
Anyway, I love the Envy and Blueberry Squish colorways.
The Phuket Sunset - Panda Sock Handdyed Yarn Fingering Weight yarn looks lovely! So pretty, it would make an adorable sweater for a little girl I think. =)
You cooked up some yummie goodness in "Springtime"!
Love Springtime!
I love how cheerful the colors are in the Sunrise Sparkle Fluff!
Lately, I've been into 'random'-type things....therefore, I like her 'leftovers' Batts.
In April'l box, I did get some of her 'sparkle fluff', which was added during hand-carding to some other fibers. Love how it turned out!
Tristan! I LOVE the colours. Fabulous work.
So many beautiful items it was hard to choose just one. If I didn't already have more sock yarn than time I'd be all over the Roadside - Handdyed BFL Sock Lace Yarn Light Fingering Weight.
Blueberry squish all the way!
Love the Blueberry Squish Tussah Silk! Such a pretty combination of colors!
I like the End of Sunset drumcarded batts. Lovely giveaway!

...and I have the perfect seed bead mixture to go with the fibers called heather....may just have to break down and see if my imagination can make the blend work!

i think i love just about everything in Susan's Kitchen, but if i had to pick a fav i'd say the "Poison Apple" BFL is it.
