Chinchillas1957 flying squirrels fiber giveaway!

This giveaway was a long time coming! Chinchillas1957 created these pulled fiber balls back in September for our "Enchanted Forest" box. What a gorgeous mix of superwash wool, brown alpaca and angelina!

Come see more gorgeous fiber! Lauren has loads of nommy goodness in her shop right now! She has several of these hand pulled fiber "nests" available, which is such a lovely fiber prep and you don't see it everywhere!

Visit Chinchillas1957 today, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below. We'll be drawing for a winner later in the week, and remember that all of your social networking updates about this will get you extra entries!

I love combed fibers! I love coming fibers! Well, I like the pulling off part the best. I would love the "Witches of Tar Valon - Red Ajah" and not just because I read the first 10 books in that series!

First of all, I love that they're selling a pancake recipe. So random.

The color combinations are all so eye catching that I had to give them all a second glance before I picked one. But I think the Electric Raspberry Cream Truffles win it for me. (Miami was a close second)

Allison said...

Is it okay if my eye was drawn first to the pancakes? :-P

Wednesday said...

I'm obsessed with the 80s birthday party, and if I wasn't short on my rent, I'd have that sucker in my cart already! :p I love alpaca, and I love polwarth, and I adore the colors! It just looks so squishy!

I'm also fairly in love with the one that looks EXACTLY like fresh-fallen snow! Also an ideal blend of fibers that I'd kill to be able to touch/shove my face in. :)

I pretty much adore everything in the shop, but those two are my faves!

my fave right now is the Electric Raspberry Cream Truffles. I have gotten a few samples from chinchillas in boxes and was in love with all of them-my prob was they came in small amounts- I have now realized I NEED TO MIX AND MATCH-the 1-2 oz portions are perfect to make a entirely original yarn- I am off to decide- you may have just created a monster
