WC Mercantile *Giveaway*
Deep in the heart of Texas, there lives a little wool shop; the best wool shop in Texas!
Stephanie of WCMercantile runs an awesome everything-you-ever-wanted-and-more brick and mortar in downtown Navasota.
I am going to show up there one day and take home one of her spinning wheels. In the meantime, I'll have plenty to keep me busy, with all of the gorgeous spinning fiber supplies Stephanie offers.
I bet you didn't know, that Stephanie is also an indie dyer! We're offering up some "Indie Dyed" BFL Roving for a giveaway!
Just visit WCMercantile find something you like, and post about it in the comments section below! We'll be giving this 4oz of spinning fiber a new home on Friday! Remember to let everyone else in on this as well, use your twitter, facebook, plurk, blogposts etc to get extra entries!
Stephanie, thank you so much for being you! Phat Fiber loves you!

I love that sea glass superwash bfl. Such pretty colors!
I've been eyeing their alpaca, but I also love a mystery : 3 oz Mystery Bag of Rovings, Tops, and Batts
Cindy
EEEE, I want a Mystery Bag!!! I love things like that! Tweeting @millarca!
the merino tussah top...oh my! all of the colors are wonderful, and the price for 4oz is great!
I love that there is so much white to choose from. My fave colored fiber is green isle. :)
I have ordered from WC Mercantile several times and they are great: free shipping, fast shipping and great products. I bought one of the indie rovings awhile back (coral/hot pink) and have used it in a variety of yarns. I've also bought mohair, merino and bamboo from them!
What's not to love? They're all beautiful.
If I had to choose, I'd choose... one of almost everything. But when I got it, I'd probably be most excited about the sea glass superwash bfl, the showers and flowers superwash bfl, and all the undyed top to feed my recent dyeing addiction.
I love all your pretty things!
I think If I had to pick a favorite it would be the sampler you have in the shop, it would be fun to spin a little of everything!
Ooohh. I just love the straw berry roving bfl. What great colors
I like the Earthues Botanical Dye Kit and 1 pound of Merino Wool since I really enjoy dying yarn. I also like that there is a Grimes County (my maiden name) lol.
I've been eyeing that "Strawberry" indie dyed roving for weeks.
Mackenzie tartan roving? LOVE it!!
I love, love, love the Handpainted Earhart Light Worested Superwash Merino Yarn -- Sea Glass that was featured in the Phat Box this month. The colors are just so striking. I regularly pop over to her Etsy shop and dream of buying it. WC Mercantile is a lovely, lovely shop,
I love everything in her shop - I really love her BFL roving, so nice. Today I want the Deep See Merino Tencel. Tomorrow I will want the Green Isle Merino & Tussah. The next day I think it will be the Mackenzie Tartan . . .
But I seriously think I need to order some of the Merino Tussah . . .
How can I choose just one??? Love it all ... especially the merino and tussah silk top.
Love those sea glass and ocean oasis rovings! Also, I ordered some of the camel/silk roving for a friend awhile back and she LOVES it!
The indie dyed are awesome. I'm loving Mermaids Braid and Ocean Oasis.

All the wonderful indie dyed rovings! And free shipping? WOW!

Since I've never spun cotton before, I'd love to try the Organic Cotton Sliver - Variety Sampler
definatley agree with the fun factor of a mystery bag, too cool!
Tweeted @claymuse
LOVE WCMercantile! I've had my eye on their Dark Garnet colorway for a while now.
That mystery bag of rovings, tops, and batts just gets the creative juices flowing - love the idea of getting a surprise in the mail! (and that price is wonderful . . .)
I'm all about the Mystery Bag; I can't resist a surprise. My husband says you can sell me anything if you staple it into a bag first. Sadly, it's true. :)
I like the Mystery Bag and the Lemon Drop merino top!
I love the 4 oz Corriedale Wool Top - Back in the Saddle.
She has so much in the shop! There is a yellow roving that is soo gorgeous. And the mystery bag. And she carries he spinning wheel (Ashford Kiwi) that I am looking into buying, so I'm excited that I can buy it from a Phattie!! Yea!! Thanks so much for letting me know about her shop!
I love the Indie dyed rovings, especially Flowers and Showers. And the mystery bags are a pretty cool idea. I'll plurk and tweet.
I really like the 4 oz. Merino and Tussah Silk Top - Mackenzie Tartan. I really should order it!
Ooh, I really like the undyed silk hankies! I was at the Iowa Sheep and Wool Festival two weeks ago and picked up some silk hankies and have been having fun playing with them! These would be fabulous because then I could dye them myself and have all that fun, too!
Loving the wheels - especially the Majacraft Suzie, so pretty...
Oooo Forest Floor merino top. GORGEOUS. me please ;)
(trying this again...holy technical difficulties!)
I really love the merino in iceberg blue and also in dove. I would love to spin those together :)

correidale wool top grey...love it!
I recently got some baby camel/tussah from MC Mercantile - it is sooo luxurious & soft. I love it! This time, the Strawberry BFL roving really caught my eye. What I love most about Steph's shop is that shipping to Canada is only $1 (a total bargain compared to some other etsy shops!)

I am getting a Ladybug wheel, as soon as I can afford it!

Love that sea glass and if I catch it in again, I'll certainly buy some. I also love the Dye Your Own Silk Cap Kit. The silk is glowing ~ and what a terrific way to get started dying your own silk!
~sciteacher @Rav
Definitely the sea glass superwash. Oooh baby!
I'd have to pick the Majacraft Millie. Wow!
Oh, and I "plurk'd" about this...
The BFL roving in "Carmella". Sometimes those subdued looking earth tones spin up into the most striking yarn!
"Purple Passion" Merino and Tussah top. So pretty! I also want a Mystery Bag!!!!
I have to pick ONE thing that I like??? That is impossible. The prices are great and free shipping....
The Merino Tussah products are so beautiful. I would like one of each, please. :o)
Oh, and one more thing....
It is nice to see solid and near solid fibers for sale.
Wow, thanks for letting us know abut this shop, it is awesome. I love the Felting Wool Artist's Pallet 4. Such gorgeous coolors. Please put me in the drawing. I am going to go shopping now.
I like their Sea Glass colorway, all the felting artist's pallet, and the merino tops look both shiny and soft.
Most definitly added that to my favorite sellers. Can't really pick just one thing, but the showers and flowers roving was really beautiful, and love all that bfl!!
There are so many lovely things! I want so many...but something I haven't seen and truly, truly want is the Earthues Botanical Dye Kit...just wonderful!
Sea Glass is so tempting! And it looks soft, too. I'm having fun spinning the Oceanic Box colors and am going to make a small bag in mitered (domino) knitting--the colors can't HELP but go together!
how is it possible to pick even one thing???? all the beautiful colors... everything is so beautiful.. makes me wish I lived in TEXAS again!!! I'd be there EVERY DAY... just looking at everything!!! it's amazing!!! Great job ladies!! and I love that it's a mother/daughter shop... my daughter and I knit/crochet.. and scrapbook.. and do beading.. and anything else I can get her to do with me... except clean her room.. that's always an argument!!! LOL
I love the indie dyed Boliver roving.
I think my favorite is definitely the Raspberry Dreams corriedale wool top!
I'll definitely be coming back to this shop!
The merino top that is a mix of River Rock and Olive is lovely. I also like the idea of just getting a mystery bag. I'm new to spinning, so I imagine that the mystery bag would be fun to play around with.

There are all kinds of undyed fibers for those seeking to satisfy their color addictions... and that cashmere top looks fabulous!
There's a "strawberry" indi dyed BFL roving calling me! It looks like strawberry lemonade.
Did you see the Ashford wheels? I have the Joy and it is wonderful. Folds up for storage or transport and really spins well.
The first time I walked into WC Mercantile I almost fell over! Everything is beautiful, and the selection was overwhelming. As a new spinner, I buy mostly Merino batts, but my heart is set on the baby camel with tussah silk. It looks good enough to eat, and it feels like a cloud.
I like the Flowers and Showers BFL roving, the Gems BFL roving, and the 2 oz Dyed Yearling Mohair Rovings - FARM FRESH and SUPER SOFT. The colorways are just gorgeous.
I love the River Rock and Olive roving mixed. All of the photos are delicious! I am also a sucker for mystery bags of fiber...
i love the 4 oz. Indie Dyed BFL Roving - Gems

Favorite by far is Mix of River Rock and Olive Merino Top. The colors are so rich, I want to eat them!
I bet the crystal metallic fiber would be interesting to work with but fabulous when added as a two-ply
What a great give away! I'd love to spin any one of her 2 oz Dyed Yearling Mohair Rovings. Yummy!

EEEEE! I'm trying really hard not to buy any more fiber right now, because WC Mercantile has some amazing prices. Right now I'm looking at the undyed 4 oz. Merino and Tencel Top and trying not to add it to my shopping cart.
