Colorbug Yarns BFL giveaway!

I can't tell you how excited I am that Ann from Colorbugyarns is now dyeing and stocking super soft BFL! I just love bfl- when I want a nice traditional 2 ply yarn (or single) that will hold up well when knitting and wearing, I gravitate toward this type of wool. The longer staple makes it easier to spin for beginners too- so if you haven't tried it yet, you really should!

And who could resist the utter happiness that is Colorbugyarns colorways?! This giveaway color is called Gladiolus and it's so cheery and beautiful, I hope it will become a staple in her shop. Looks like someone just snatched up the braid Ann just listed, but please convo her, as I know she'll be happy to create more!

Visit Colorbugyarns today, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below. We'll be giving away this Gladiolus BFL braid away later in the week. Remember we reward those social networking pings!

Carribbean, Maritime and Splat in Corriedale are just so gorgeous... I really shouldn't be reading this blog as much as I should, because all these posts which direct me to etsy sellers are dangerous for my pocket. :)

Bad enablers, you. Color Bug Yarns is one of my favorite dyers. I'm in love with everything she dyes. But nothing can beat the "A Beautiful Butterfly" sock yarns (one day I'll buy me one of those just to look at).

A Beautiful Butterfly is BEAUTIFUL. I think I might go buy some.

I love the Koi BFL. I also think it's really cool that she dyes up the same colorway across her products. If you don't spin or don't want to spin a colorway, but love it, just buy it in yarn form!

What a perfect color to have to perk yourself up during the winter doldrums! I don't really know how you expect me to pick one. I love the maritime merino sock yarn, though the autumn peak is beautiful as well.

I love the Maritime roving! Today is my son's 18th birthday, and blue and orange are his favorite colors. As soon as I'm off my yarn diet, I'll be grabbing up this colorway to make him a Christmas scarf.

I love how Ann has grown in the last year. I was her first "in person" purchase last year in Detroit. Koi sock yarn. Love it. The new Butterfly colorway and the new yarn bases are really a treat. Now if I can only score a box soon.

I adore the blue and orange colorways like Maritime and Koi... the complimentary colors are so striking against each other! It makes me think of a fire raging across the sky.

I am just getting into spinning, mainly for all the beautiful colors. My favorite of colorbug's is the midsummer nights dream, I think it would make a fantastic shawl. Although the Gladiolus colorway might be better to keep the sunshine around through the winter.
