I am so excited to feature Out of Step Dyeworks today! I am just filled with yarn admiration for this lovely blood-red skein of BFL Aran yarn dyed by the lovely and talented Amy Klimt. This is the most beautiful red, I think- one that is so dark and rich, it's almost a cool color!
For August, Amy dyed the most interesting "Mantilla" colorways! I just loved the color combination, it just isn't everyday you see a lime green/ turquoise and grey and black and brown all in the same skein- amazing!

I think that I am a fan of the 12 Bar Blues- Alpaca/Silk/Cashmere Sport Yarn due to how soft it looks, like a little chartreuse kitten you just have to touch again and again.

I love the naming of her colorways, they're unique and very apt! I also love the way she displays the striping yarn, with the knitted sample. So helpful!
I'm so drawn to everything Amy does! The Mantella colorway is so striking. But I think my very favorite is the Kraken sock-weight. So beautiful!
