Katherine Vaughan Designs Pack Giveaway

I am especially proud of several of our Phatties for stepping up and offering to donate small (sometimes large!) portions of their profits for Haiti Relief. It is just another illustration of how this amazing band of fiber artists come together in synchronicity to achieve greatness.

Katherine Vaughan was one of the first designers I noticed to offer a portion of her proceeds to help for Haiti. Having a personal ties to the country, she put advocacy in action immediately upon hearing the news of the earthquake.

Now through January 31st, $2 for every pattern purchase from Katherine Vaughan will be donated to a Haitian Relief effort. I'm off to purchase her Happy Wrap- I'd been eyeballing it for a while!

As a special giveaway, we are offering a 5 pack of printed designs for you! Just visit Katherine Vaughan's pattern shop on Ravelry , or her Etsy shop and let us know which are your favorites. We'll be drawing for a winner later in the week- and yes your pattern purchases count towards the superbox giveaway as well! We'll be counting your twitter and facebook updates as extra entries, so let everyone know about Katherine Vaughan Designs!

Thanks for fighting the good fight, KT!

Got this from Katherine Vaughan - don't feel so selfish when a portion goes to help Haiti.

Oh, I was just eyeing a bunch of her patterns yesterday, esp. all the baby blankets. My cousin and his wife are having a baby this summer, and I'm sure that kid will be knitworthy! Gotta find something to make for the little one. I also appreciate where her donations are going, as that's one of the places we'll be sending ours.

Her lace patterns are beautiful. I love Inconceivable. Between the name and the movie references how could it not be a hit!

I love the good day sunshine bag pattern.

It amazes me how many crafters and designers have scrambled to do all the can for Haiti, thank goodness!

I like the pattern for Duveteux. I have been looking for a pattern like that to have to wear when knitting at the library. My back & shoulder gets cold but I like my arms to be free. I like all of the baby blanket patterns and the comfy cape pattern.
