I am so excited about Goddess Tea, I could squeal! Goddess Tea debuted in the Phat Fiber box in January, and look for some delicious smelling tea bags in the February box as well!
Daniella Cortez, the Tea Goddess, is more of a Goddess of all things Crafty. You remember her from buydanido.com where she sells her original patterns, knitwear and hand dyed yarn. The Phat Shop currently has a nice sock yarn selection dyed by Dani, and each Goddess inspired yarn comes with a Goddess Tea sample!!
I might have stopped writing this post no less than three times. We're expecting another 3-6 inches of snow today and I keep watching the skies, all gray and bubbling with crystallized moisture. It's a perfect day to take some time to stop, make some warm tea, and enjoy a quiet meditative space. I hope you'll consider trying Goddess Tea for yourself. You'll be supporting a wonderful indie craft person, and you'll be nurturing your own spirit.
We're giving away this delicious 2 oz bag of "Krishna Herbal" Goddess Tea. Here is what Dani wrote about it:
Krishna is the Hindu Goddess of love and divine joy, she is the destroyer of pain and sin. She is also a trickster and a lover. She is sweet and dangerously spicy as well.
Krishna's duality is celebrated in this blend of sweet and spicy flavors. This spicy and floral blend features rose buds and leaves, cardamom, star anise, ginger root and cinnamon. This tea needs little else added to it but hot water for an entirely enjoyable (and caffeine free) cup.
Sounds divine to me! Please visit Goddess Tea, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below. We'll be giving this away this weekend, so be sure and tweet/facebook about this giveaway to receive extra entries. It makes it so much easier on me if you leave an identifying mark too- rav name/ Twitter name/ etc.
Thank you so much, Dani! You know I love you!

I just love tea and I want to try it all, that is why I would probably say my favorite item would be the Goddess Sampler - Spice. I love spice teas this time of year!
Just reading that description makes me want a cup ;-)

Back to perusing the shop - thanks for the link!
I just sent her an email to join the Tea of the Month club-the January sample was wonderful!
I am also linking to her site and the tea via FB and Twitter.
I guess that makes 3 mentions including this!
I have been eyeing the Bastet Green Tea for a while now... it looks so tasty.

Dear Husband, If you happen to be reading this, you could purchase me a fews months of the Tea of the Month club for me for Valentine's Day. It looks awesome. Love, Me
I'm really curious about the hand roasted coffee beans!
I think I would like to try some of the hand roasted Peruivan coffee beans of the Goddess sampler spice tea.
I would like to try the Bastet Green Tea; normally I don't like green tea that much, but I'm trying to learn to like it for its health benefits, and Danido's blend sounds delicious!!!
Jess

Heeee, I want the Estsanatlehi entirely because of this awesome typo:
"A sweet blend of cylon and orange pekoe black teas..."
I know she means ceylon, but I'm a Battlestar dork and it would make me very happy to have cylon tea.
RTed @millarca!
Wow! These are really nice. I think a sampler would give me a good idea of which one I would like to keep around.
I love home made Chai. I ordered the kit, I can't wait to get it and try it.
Sue
The Brighid Black Tea sounds amazing as does the Hestia Chai Kit.

no thank YOU! You and Roo inspired this blend, I never would have thought to put these flavors together if you guys hadn't insisted it was yummy. (and how right you were!)
Thank you so much for the kind words. Ilove you too! <3
The Hestia chai kit looks awesome! What a great idea. I'm also sarahlouise on Rav.
I really like regular Rooibos teas to the Durga Rooibos Blend looks fabulous to me!

My Ravelry name is LunariaLovesTea, so you know I have to enter for thsi one, and I have to love the Luna Herbal
I would really love to try the chai concentrate kit!
The tea blends look lovely, but I want to try some hand/home-roasted coffee beans!! We grind out own coffee but the freshest I've had is Starbucks. The Costa Rica one sounds exactly like what I like for my morning mocha (which I do make at home, with Starbucks coffee, lol).
That Hestia Chai Kit would hit the spot right now. Oh, it would be so perfect at any time of day, in fact!
OOooo, I was some of the Latis blend!
The Brighid Black tea sounds divine. I love all teas, but especially love any with spice to them. Maybe the sampler is in order. :)
I'm thinking of the sampler because they all sound so good! I would probably go for the chai as the one that sounds the most tempting to me. The club sounds great and I'm adding it to my wishlist.
i am so glad she got this up and running! have to say the goddess sampler spice sounds good with the chilly weather!
I got a sample of Dani's tea with my Moonwood Bollywood batts -- it was lovely!
I'd love to try the Goddess sampler!
I gotta go with the Brigid black tea! Man, I wish I'd had some of that for Imbolc!
I was lucky to get a jan. box but I didn't get a tea sample. bummer. Anyway I think they all look interesting. But I woul have to say I would like to try the the smapler because they all sound so good.
At first, the looks of the Brigit Black Tea drew me in. Then I read the description and that was the clincher, YUMMY!
Mmmm... the Aphrodite Roobios sounds like it would make a great cup of tea!
Can I just say that I'm a tea-aholic, and I've been drooling over all of it since she's listed them.
Give me the Hestia Chia any day!
Mmm, tea. This post made me take a break and make a new pot of tea for the next hours work. Thank you. I could drink every type of tea I read about, but the Hestia Chai Kit caught my attention - love the star anis.
The Hestia Chai kit looks interesting. I'm a huge chai nut, so being able to make my own would be fun.
