Fiber Fancy Lace Yarn Giveaway!
Though I love discovering new shops and sometimes shopping with a place you've never purchased before is often exciting, I have several "fall back" shops I regularly buy from because I know what I'm going to get. This is the case with Fiber Fancy! I am very excited to see the new yarns Diana is dyeing and offering in her shop!
As some of you know, I'm going through a shawl phase. I am working on 2 right now and I will admit, I like using sock weight yarn because I like to knit them fast. This laceweight that Diana is now offering is beautiful and has a little 'backbone'- it's not the really super thin laceweight that you can find elsewhere. This means you can use a slightly larger needle and expect to be able to knit a little bit faster :)
We're giving away this beautiful skein of 'Wanderer of the Night' today! Please visit Fiber Fancy, go virtual window shopping, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below and be sure and twitter, facebook, plurk or ravelate about it as well to get extra entries!

Ooooh, beautiful! If I were shopping, this is what I would nab:
Handspun, Two Ply Yarn with Romney, Mohair and Silk in Forest Moss. All her offerings are beautiful and as soon as I learn to spin, that roving is on my list!
I love this one: http://www.etsy.com/listing/47987638/handspun-two-ply-yarn-with-clun-forest
the color and texture is amazing.
Loads to love in this shop. Hand Dyed, 4 Ounces, Superwash Merino, Self Striping Worsted Weight Yarn, Over 250 Yards in Seafoam Roses is so springy/summery.
This has been a favorite shop of mine for some time. The products are always quality. I am currently waiting on my Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory SAL fiber. ;p
Love the Hand Dyed, 4 Ounces, Superwash Merino, Self Striping Finger Weight Yarn, Over 550 Yards in Mountain Paradise!
Thanks :)

The Mountain Paradise laceweight yarn is simply gorgeous! And I like the worsted weight in the same colorway too.
I'm infatuated with the painted pony colorway. Not the usual shades I'm drawn to, but it's so pretty! (ALso, I am a huge sucker for bamboo in my yarn.) Crocus is also really unique, not a combination you typically see.
I love her Playing in the Kettle Falkland top, such depth of color!
Oh such lovely wool, I'd love to spin the "Playing in the Kettle - Wine and Berries", such rich colours.
Lovely, just lovely x
I love Diana's work :-) Just keeping to yarns I really like Handspun, Two Ply Yarn with Romney, Mohair and Silk in Forest Moss.
I'm going to post on FB as well.
The handspun in Mossed Copper Kettle is gorgeous!
I love the mountain lights laceweight yarn that would make a beautiful shawlette. Some of her fibers are such wonderful colors!
The Sea Breeze roving is lovely! =)
Wow! Wanderer of the Night is such a lovely name, and the shop is wonderful.
I think my favorite is either the Bamboo blend in Beach Days, Romney, Mohair and Silk in Forest Moss, or Punta Yarn in New York Lights.
It's so hard to chose.
My vote(s) goes to, in no particular order:
Toad's Eye
Playing in the Kettle (any of them!)
Any of the 'Night' series batts/rovings.
This looks dreamy: Hand Dyed, Carded and Hand Pulled Alpaca, Silk and More Roving, Over 4 Ounces in Watermelon Candies
Tweeted!
It's hard to pick only one thing from this shop! So many beautiful things, an even now I'm having to hold back on buying some of the hand-dyed sock yarns.
However, I think the Handspun, Two Ply Polworth Yarn in A Design for Life, truly is just beautiful. There's such a wonderful texture of color there but it comes together in an overall wonderful tone.
The Bamboo Rayon Combed top Roving in Lollipop is awesome! I'm on a total shiny yarn and roving kick this summer...there's something beautiful about the summer sun hitting shiny knit!
I liked the Mellow Memories top...the colors AND the fiber looked soft!
I really loved the single ply handspun in the "New World" Colorway. The batts were beautiful wish I were a spnner!
The Hand Dyed and Handspun Yarn, Superwash in A New World, Over 175 Yards looks lovely!
Love, love, love the Watermelon Candies batt. So my colors and with alpaca, silk - too beautiful to resist.
I love the fingering weight merino/bamboo blend fingering-weight in Painted Pony! I'm a sucker for the little bit of sheen and the variegated neutrals!
I absolutely love the hand dyed worsted yarn in Seafoam Roses - what a gorgeous combination of colors.
I love it ALL so very, very much! :-) She's fantastic at using color. Right now my favorites are Hot Fudge Sundae and Sailor's Night - yummy!

Love the single ply superwash in totally teal!
I love the fairy favours roving!

All of the yarns are so beautiful and the roving makes me want to learn how to spin. Spinning is on my horizon - I think it has gotten just a bit closer. I am not so very far from Buffalo - perhaps there is a road trip in my future if there is a brick and mortar store as well.
I love the Raven's Night batt!
thanks for this giveaway!
My favorite in her shop is the Hand Dyed, Handspun Yarn Set in Blue Heaven including Llama and Mulberry Silk.
I love the Slubby Single Ply Superwash Wool Yarn in Totally Teal- I bet the stitch definition would be simply fantastic with this yarn. And the color is dreamy.
I like this one. It reminds me of the Hummingbird Eggs candy that I use to get for easter when I was younger:
Hand Dyed, 4 ounces, Superwash Merino Wool Combed Top, Roving in Fairy Favours, June PhatFiber
I also twittered about it.
With so many great yarns and fibers it is hard to choose just one. I like her "playing in the kettle" fibers. Polka and acting Zebra are two of my favorites. And since I do not spin "yet" she offers spinning service.
I love the colors in her hand dyed 4 oz superfine organic Merino 275 self striping yards of Mountain Paradise.
this is soo beautiful! Handspun, Single Ply Superwash Wool Yarn in Totally Teal, Over 85 Yards :) It'd make a cool looking hat!

Grape Streak, Mellow Polka, Lion Summer, and the silk Sliver in the Windmill are my favorites! I would love to spin and knit something really pretty out of those!
Wow...everything is sooo pretty!
If I were to choose one, I guess it would be Playing in the Kettle, Hand Dyed, 8 ounces, Superwash Wool Combed Top, Roving in Wine and Berries.
I love her sense of color! Though I've been eying her sparkling night series of batts for some time now. It's almost like there's too many fantastic things, how can I possibly pick? I keep hoping I'll snag a sample in a box, to make up my mind for me. Oh, the power those little boxes have!

The hand dyed and hand spun superwash merino in Fairy Favours - gorgeous!
I love the earthly shades in Painted Pony hand dyed yarn (http://www.etsy.com/listing/48868559/hand-dyed-4-ounces-superwash-merino-and)
The colors of Seafoam Roses remind me of striped ribbon candy, delicious!
My eye was immediately drawn to New York Lights - what a nuanced color palette!
I like Fairy Favours and Woodsmen. But of course all the other things in her shop.
Formal Kermit!
The color looks so fresh, and I love the fiber mix of these batts.
Also, even without considering any of the yarn, there are 28 other items in the shop that I would like to get my hands on. Dangerous, dangerous place ...
Love the roving in Aurora Relaxation - lovely lovely lovely.
It was hard to choose just one item. The colors in the "1.5 ounces, Hand Dyed, Mulberry Silk Combed Top, Roving, Sliver in Violets Mix" are lovely!
Dude! That merino roving in Burning Sunrise is very unique! Good lookin stuff!
painted pony and playing in the kettle....so nice!
love the hand dyed, handspun, superwash in A New World
I love the Painted Pony sport weight yarn - both the colours and the generous (enough for socks) yardage.
I like the worsted weight self-striping Merino called Mountain Paradise. patsycoats@bellsouth.net
I think the acing zebra roving would look cool spun up.
Facebook- DP Macklin
Love the yarn - it is beautiful.
I really liked this:
Handspun Yarn, Alpaca, Cormo and Silk in Ribbons, Over 200 Yards - very nice
The single ply of the purple and blue and the rust are just yummy looking! and I keep coming back to the Mountain paradise too :)
So pretty! My favorite is probably the hand-dyed worsted superwash in Seafoam Roses, the colors are gorgeous. Painted Pony is running a close second!
(Marlitharn on Ravelry)
I love all of her silks! They are so colorful and shiny!
Playing in the Kettle, Hand Dyed, 4 ounces, Falkland Wool Combed Top, Roving in Longing may be the most appropriately named item in the shop. It certainly inspires a longing in me!
I love the Hand Dyed and Handspun, Single Ply Superwash Yarn in Grape Streak.
Love the Superwash Wool Roving in Afternoon Stroll. I'm on a bit of a lace kick myself and betting that would spin up into a lovely laceweight.
