Spincerely Yours and *Giveaway*

Sometimes, a sample will come in here and it makes my heart flutter and I get all jittery and I practically run to the computer and order more. That is what happened when the Spincerely Yours samples arrived this month!
Tamara sent in several little packets of her "Caireen" colorway and it literally made me stutter... sss sss soft! I will admit, as a novice spinner, I am a little intimidated by the tencel but I'm sure I'll get over that quickly when my package arrives!
I seriously want to paint my studio in "Caireen". It's all the earthy greens
rolled into one soft and shiny place. Speaking of soft and shiny places, Spincerely Yours is an absolute treat for the eyes! Tamara has put together blending packages- colors that look amazing next to each other so novice spinners like myself can experiment with plying and blending techniques without freaking out that it will look like throw up when finished.
I really can't tell you how excited I am about Tamara's shop. As if I don't stalk my postie enough, I've got added incentive in the next couple of days!
Tamara is so awesome, she sent in a 4oz package of "Caireen" for you to enjoy! Just visit Spincerely Yours, find something you like and comment about it below here! Leave a way for me to find you as we'll be drawing sometime late tonight! Tweeting and Plurking and other social networking avenues will net you second entries! Help get the word out about this wonderful "Phattie"!

Oooh... I have to say, I am too intimidated by tencel to pick anything with it in it...

The thing I love most in her shop (Corrie Cross in Ariarhod) looks to have sold earlier this morning...

My next favorite would have to be the SW BFL in Emerald City.

The bicolor packs are a great idea! I really like Just Lime/Aphrodite. I also really like the Lemon with a Twist of Lime, especially since it will shine from the Tencel. Beautiful!

I desperately, desperately want her Sarah's Window yarn. The last time I got some Spincerly, I loved it, but I wasn't a good enough spinner to do it justice. This time though... I know exactly what I'd do it with.

oh, and it's jecrowley at ravelry or just follow me to my blog.

I adore the Sara's Window colors. I need to learn to spin for this stuff.

Are you serious? There is no WAY I am going to her shop after seeing that amazing roving in your pictures! I wouldn't trust myself not to BUY anything, I am on a strict no spending rule! :) The Caireen is outstanding, and for me to get excited about GREEN is pretty darn rare. Not to mention the fact that it's Tencel... *sigh*

Liz said...

Oh my, that is gorgeous! I'd love to be entered in the drawing!! :D

Wow, Jessie you're really tugging at my purse now. :) That Caireen is quite possibly the most beautiful thing I've ever seen!

I also love the BFL in Emerald City & Coralbells and the bicolor packs in Spring Pear/Orchid and Just Lime/Turquoise.

I tell you what - some serious spending is probably about to happen. Too bad Caireen isn't up in the shop (I guess I just have to cross my fingers and see if I can win it).

love love love the colorways of this artist! Enchantress is lovely! (but the above fibers give me the warm fuzzies as well)

OMG! I just so love all the bicolor packs! I'm so happy that I got the new wheel but now I have to go spin, spin, spin until I get the 'practice' fiber out of the way so I can go buy some more 'real' fiber to spin!!!

What does everyone make with the small amounts of handspun?

I'm torn between the Butterscotch and the Lemon with a Twist of Lime...they're all so scrumptious, really.
