Abstract Fiber

I seriously squee like a fangirl every time HQ gets an Abstract Fiber package! The colors are always so rich and always with a touch of the unexpected to keep them extra interesting. March's samples blew me away. Theywere close to 100 yards of Abstract's "Mighty Sock" (tencel and merino blend) in several different colorways. I am particularly fond of the "Thai Chili" and the "Seattle" colorways but I could see myself purchasing one of each- which is a scary thought! Now that they have their new improved ecommerce site- it will be even easier to buy them! Breathe. I've got to pace myself!
For February and April, Abstract Fiber has sent in their delicious spinning fiber! Again, the buttery textures would make these excellent spinning projects, but the colors knocked me into orbit.
Susan, the dye virtuoso and owner of Abstract Fiber, spends her days dyeing and teaching in Portland Oregon. If you read about the shop here you'll find out Susan is surrounded by a suportive group of people that help her out at various fiber shows. I take that as a testament to her talent and her personality. Join the Aaabsolutely Abstract Ravelry group, and find out where Abstract will be next!
I would like to thank Susan and her crew, for participating in Phat Fiber. Your skill and generosity of sample size continue to excite and inspire!

I have received the Abstract Fiber samples in both my boxes and they're *wonderful*. The colors are rich and the fiber itself was a joy to spin. I can strongly recommend them to everyone!
