Poly Art Girl and *Giveaway*

Wow! Are you ready for this?! Crys of Polyartgirl has sent in some lustrous and luxurious fiber for the April box. Bamboo and a new fiber on the market, milk!
In February, Crys sent in some beautiful red locks and she's outdone herself this month!
Every time I visit her shop, I feel a sense of calm wash over me. Her colors are spectacular and the quality of her fiber is top drawer!
Crys is also co- director for the SLV folk Festival! I wish I lived closer, as that looks like it would be an extra fun event to attend!
Up for grabs is the beautiful warm and earthy hand combed bamboo, ramboulliet, mohair and angelina rovings. They total 1 3/4 oz and are so yummy! Please visit Polyartgirl and find something you like. Post about it below here and you'll be entered in the drawing on Thursday. Want to be counted twice? Use twitter, plurk, facebook, your blog or other social network to get the word out about Crys' wonderfully beautiful shop! Just let me know you did!
Thank you so much Crys! I adore your work, and I hope you will continue to contribute to Phat Fiber!

Oh, good grief, I can't possibly choose -- blues/greens/purples are my favorite colors, and practically everything she has falls in those colors!!! If I have to pick one, I guess the Dream colorway, but seriously...can I have them all?!?

My fave is Oceanic Daydream - I'm a sucker for the blues/teals/browns color combination. I can say from experience, too, that spinning these types of rovings with the alpaca blended in is a real pleasure!

I loved the BFL locks I got from her in February in the box and have already used some up! I'd love to get more so my favorite thing from her shop would be the locks in the Rain colorway: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=20871765

Call me a plain Jane, but I love the marshmallow creme (I'm also a sucker for white flowers...), though if I had to pick something colored it would be the Spring Colorway. It's been a long winter here and anything green is currently striking my fancy! (And I love the ringlets in locks!)

the ocean dream looks like just that and while the milk fiber is fascinating to me and I'd love to try spinning with it, I finally fell to the side of the ocean dream mixed fiber roving because, you know, I felt. Milk fiber can't possibly felt, can it? No cuticle...Her fibers are beautiful!

rebelhousewife said...

Wow, it is all yummy. I think if i had to choose I would say the Dream color in the milk fiber blend. I haven't tired spinning that yet and it is on my list to try.

Wow the Sea smoke yarn is lovely. What a complex and elegant mix of colors!

I'm just getting into spinning so I may be over my head but I'd like to try for the prize to build my stash... even if I might be a bit afraid to use such fine fibers for a while.

She's got this vehemence handspun fuchsia yarn with shots of lime and blue mixed in. Plus, there's another handspun called Pinto Valley Treasure that's a dark blue with beads spun into it. It reminds me of dark water. Love it!
