Wild Hare Fiber Studio

If you've been on the Ravelry group lately, you'll notice we're all Wild for Wild Hare Fiber studio!
Melissa's gorgeous creations debuted in the February Box with a variety of her local wools and an amazing embers batt that was amazingly dark and fiery.
March's Samples from Wild Hare were no less astounding, this time with some delicious pot of gold handspun and green batts and fiber samplings.
There is so much to see and choose from in Melissa's shop! I am especially intrigued with her recycled soda bottle roving! I'm so curious about the feel of it, but the colors are absolutely amazing! Has anyone spun with this before?
Melissa takes particular care in selecting who she purchases fiber from- most being within 100 miles of her. Because she visits the farms and mills the fiber comes from herself, she can really control the quality of her materials. I love to read her blog and I feel like I'm gleaning so much information from someone who shows not only knowledge of her craft, but an infectious passion for fibery things. Find Melissa at the Sedalia Fiber Festival in May!
Thank you so much for being a part of Phat Fiber, Melissa! We look forward to what you have cooking up for us this month!

Melissa's sample in the March box was actually my very favourite!

I've never spun Ecospun, but that Seamist is lovely. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that I get some of her fiber in my April box.

Ooops! Seamist is gone. Stonewashed Rainbow is gone. The Gone Fishin' roving is also lovely and still there for the moment . . .

I've spun the Eco Spun before. I like it a lot! It's soft and has a little shine.
