Yarn Candy By Melissa *Giveaway*

Ok. I admit, I flubbed this one up. I'm making up for it though! See, Melissa from Yarn Candy By Melissa- sent these in for the February box and also included a beautiful (stunning reall) shawl pin for a giveaway. I kept passing over it I think because it was in an organza bag and I kept thinking it was a sachet.
It's all perfect timing though, because Melissa is having a big sale in her shop! In case you don't happen to win this lovely piece here, you can pop by and pick up one for yourself- Mother's Day is fast approaching- wouldn't this make a lovely gift?
One of the (many) things I like about Melissa's shop are her tiny enamel stitch markers. I showed you all in January, they are so light weight you can use them on the most delicate lace projects and hardly notice they are there- except that they are super bright and cute!
Please visit YarnCandyByMelissa today and find something you like, write about it below here and I will draw the winner tomorrow along with our other giveaways. Remember I will count your extra twittering, facebook, blogposts etc as extra entries for you!
Thank You Melissa for contributing these lovelies! We hope you'll consider contributing to the box again.

Aigh! She has my favorite kind of stitch marker, ever, which are the soft rubber ring type. I know, not fancy, but these are my go-to type of markers that I always like to have on hand. And she has COLORS! ::swoon:: I love her shawl pins and I would use those too, but my jaw hit the desk when I saw those stitch markers.

I have those rubber stitch markers and they are great, BUT since I've gotten lots of pretty stitch markers, I prefer them for the esthetics. Lots of pretty ones in her shop that I may need at a very reasonable price.

Love the shawls pins too, especially the large cobalt one.

I'll post this on my blog:

I was one of the lucky ones who got a shawl pin in my box that month-see beautiful little green heart with a string of black dancing through it,4th from bottom in center pix - I loved it so much I ran to her store & bought the most beautiful hand blown large shawl pin in shades of brown, copper & gold that was perfect for the shawl I'd made my DD. She's great, delivery was super fast, and it came in a beautiful little bag. Now I'm loving the little heart stitch markers in pastel and bright colors. They're adorable & would certainly put a smile on my face while I was working :-)

Melissa's handmade beaded stick lapel pin (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=17517933) reminds me of something you would see included in piece of romantic Victorian era ephemera. The deep hues of amethyst and jet are stunningly contrasted by a single shimmery pearl bead. I love the antiquarian look of this piece, stunning yet simple, with tons of romance. Beautiful!

What gorgeous items! I adore the colors of all, but I do have some favorites...

To begin, I adore the fact that she has the soft rubber ring stitch markers. Those slide nicely off of my needles, and the different colors are fantastic. I always have trouble finding them in more colors than just green and purple..this poses quite a problem when I want to use different colored markers to mark various things within one pattern.. so - the fact that she offers more colors is fantastic. I will be ordering some soon!

Beyond that, I love the following pins:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24091900

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24090265

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=18371313

the colors are fantastic, and the price appears to be right. I see myself placing a large order in the near future. :)
