Twice Sheared Sheep and Giveaway!

I will freely admit it. I've been bitten by the lace bug. Is it because of the summer heat? The challenge of the stitch patterns? The romance of being wrapped up in something intricate and delicate?
I am excited to share with you a shop that has yarn for every budget and great goodies too!
The Twice Sheared Sheep specializes in luxury upcycled yarn. Wrap yourself in Cashmere at a fraction of the cost.
Dawn's July samples were very pretty yarns- I would honestly not know were recycled if you didn't tell me so- with a beautiful Ostrich Feather Kerchief pattern. Lace on a small scale- thank goodness!
She also sent in some of her famous moebius stitch markers! I truly adore these things! Flip them front or back they turn and move with complete ease (and are pretty to look at as well!)

Dawn has generously sent in a hank (500 yds) of 85% Silk and 15% Cashmere laceweight yarn in the most gorgeous denim color. Please visit The Twice Sheared Sheep, find something you like, and write about it in the comments section below! We'll draw for a winner this Saturday!!
Remember to twitter, facebook, blogpost etc about this giveaway for extra chances to win!

Dawn, thank you so much for sending in these beautiful samples for us. We love your shop!

I love the african violet laceweight and her yarn prices are really good. I've never tried her mobious or infinity stitch markers but would like to - can anyone tell me what the different between the two is? I also love her row counters and have looked at the make your own gift set before.

I mean, with all the lovely choices, clearly you have to do the 3 month Top Secret yarn club. There is nothing in the shop that I wouldn't get, and she clearly has lovely taste in yarn - so why not?

I've been lucky enough to get several stitch markers from dawn - I think I have a couple infinity and a couple moebius ones - as part of a yarn club I'm in, and they're great.

The notecards with the little sheep I just noticed today though. So cute!

I especially liked the infinity stitch markers. (all of them). It would be so nice to have snag free markers.
The little sheep tags are adorable too.

Recycling the yarns is a fantastic concept. I fell for the African Violet Extra Fine Merino Wool Recycled Lace Weight Yarn and a Silk Angora blend. I agree about mobius and infinity stitch markers. Having tried to make jewelry (and learned that I need a lot more hours at just making the infinity loops), I was very happily suprised by not just the wire work, but that she was using pearls, turquoise, adventurine, quartz, and other stones. I skipped on the markers, because I found another store and bought more yarn and silk fiber (or will once I get a question answered). Fiber, ah the Joy of it all ...

Not generally a stitch marker fanatic, but I love the white fresh water pearl ones. I think they would look so great, on a nice dark piece of lace knitting.

It hurts me to say this but my favorite is the PRIZE-the 85%silk,15% cashmere lace weight yarn in Denim!!! I'm dying to get it on my needles! Aside from that, I had to buy her Twisted Sister Hat & Fingerless Gloves pattern since it was perfect for my DD. I also love the Flamingo Pink wool, cashmere, angora blend & the Caramel merino lace weight yarns. It's a hard place to tear yourself away from without buying something-oops, did that!
