My 8 Kids Mom and *Giveaway*

I couldn't think of a better shop to feature today, as wee kick off Mom's week, than My8kidsMom ! While doing my usual 'research' about Rachel's shop, I read her profile and laughed out loud- She says in her spare time, she likes to create! Spare time? She owns a sheep farm (registered Cormo, Finn and Jacob sheep) and is raising and homeschooling 8 kids! Now, being a Mom of 2, I cannot even get my brain around having 8 children, but she manages to have spare time to craft?! She must be made up of that extra super mom material, that resilient yet tender supernatural stuff that just a few really special women are made of.
Rachel and her farm are gearing up for their shearing day! Check out her group on Ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/groups/my8kidsmom-on-etsy and her fun blog: www.my8kidsmomgetscrafty.com
And in celebration of Rachel, we're giving away 3.3 oz of her merino/tencel blend spinning fiber in the "Winterberries" colorway! Just visit her shop, find something you like, and write about it below here. We'll be drawing for the giveaways on Friday, so you've got a lot of time to scope it out. Remember, I will count your twittering, plurking, facebooking and ravelating as extra entries, so help get the word out about this wonderful shop!
Thank you so much, Rachel for all your hard work, and for being a part of Phat Fiber!

I'm not going to choose a favorite of Rachel's fibers...because I can't! I love her bright, upbeat, colors. They all make me itch to get them on my wheel and spin the afternoon away! And not only is Rachel a great artist, her posts are always so friendly, positive and just a blessing to the day.

Eight kids?! Wow! That's great that she's got the time for herself though. I wonder if her children are into crafting as well!
