Fairy Tale Wool January Giveaway

Our next giveaway is from Fairy Tale Wool. This is a soft and yummy handspun yarn for us. She called this yarn Kissed by the Fairy Folk. She sent this in January for a February Giveaway, but we held them until she returned from vacation. It was worth the wait! This yarn would make the perfect edging to a shawl, or I think it would make fun braids hanging down on both sides of a beautiful handmade hat.

Just look at these gorgeous fluffy curls!

The Homestead Hobbyist Giveaway

This month The Homestead Hobbyist sent us a full sized braid of his Madam Lou Graham roving that match his February Samples.

He says on his site: Rambouillet wool, 4 ounces, Inspired by the monochromatic images of Victorian-era pornography, this colorway is named after Seattle's famous madame of the late 1800s, Madame Lou Graham.

This braid is hand-dyed using acid dyes that are wash- and light-fast.
This fiber can be spun any way you like for a wonderful yarn. Please take care while hand-washing the yarn or crafted item.

He's all sold out of this gorgeous braid on his site, but there are lots of other yummy fibers to love.

Fiber Quirks Giveaway

This is our second gorgeous batt from Fiber Quirks this round. This is the batt that she sent for us for February Giveaway. I'm absolutely in love with this batt. The color is soft and rich and there's sparkle.

She titles this one The Rose Elf. It's made with superfine merino and loads of angelina sparkle.

This can be used for spinning or felting since this isn't treated merino. She also has lots of other wonderful fibers in her shop. I wonder what you'll find to love there.

Queen Conch Rare Breed Fibers Giveaway.

Jennifer at Queen Conch Rare Breeds sent us a fun little Old World Dye Kit for giveaway this month. She included a bit of fiber to dye as well as full instructions to dye with black walnuts.

She sells black walnut hulls in her etsy store. She also has many wonderful rare breed fibers that you can use to pad your stash!

I have dyed with walnuts before and I enjoyed the process. You can get beautiful blacks, browns, and creams with this natural dye. If you've never tried it before, I highly recommend it.

Broadway Creations Giveaway

I love the colors she chose for this batt. The cream color beautifully balances the rich deep greens and reds.
