We have featured yarn, fiber, handspun and more here on the blog, and now it's time to feature something you need to hold all of your new goodies in! KIP Bags! Brenda, the seamstress behind http://www.ruddawg.etsy.com/ sent in many many KIP bags to go in January's phat fiber box. Those of you who will be getting one in your boxes are so lucky! Her samples were sewn using adorable, high quality fabrics and were all lined! I was truly amazed at the craftswomanship and attention to detail displayed in each sample KIP (knits in progress) bag!Her shop carries several different sized bags- and her prices are ridiculously low!
When I first saw the range of bags she has and at the low costs- I immediately wondered how she could do it. Being the eternal daydreamer, I pictured Brenda pushing fabric through her lightning fast sewing machine- foot treadles being operated by oompa loompas, whom she allows 15 minute chocolate breaks every four hours. Then, I decided that a much simpler answer must exist, and I think I have figured it out. She loves what she does!! When You read her profile, you'll see that Brenda has been sewing for over 30 years, but only in the last decade has learned to spin and knit. Her bags are a fusion of the two fiber hobbies. If you knit and travel- anywhere from the seashore to waiting in line at the post office- you could certainly utilize one of her bags!
As part of our Launch Week Extravaganza, I'll be giving away a KIP bag to a lucky commentor! Please visit Brenda's shop- find something you like and post a comment below! As usual, plurks, tweets, blog and forum posts will get you extra entries. Help me get the word out about these awesome bags! Oh, and do leave an identifying mark when you post- rav id, email, etsy id whatever I can use to get a hold of you.
Thank you so much Brenda- for your wonderfully, awesome samples! Please consider participating in future boxes!

How cool to have pockets inside the bag for carrying along neatly instead of the bottom of the bag?
I like the non-obvious hearts of the Valentine bag. Very cute!
I think it's a wonderful idea! Especially for knitters on the go :)
I many have missed it but do you have a design for drop spindles? That would be great to toss in my bag to go with me when I venture out of the house
I just love the Batik Rain and Peles Honu fabrics! It's a great idea to have extra pockets around the inside for accessories. All in all, a great design and they are very affordable!
Oh I just love the bamboo forest bag. I think that's because I'd like to be in a bamboo forest, knitting, or crocheting...or spinning.
Oooh I likey those bags are fabulous. I especially like the Laurel Burch Cats medium. The small would be perfect for socks or a small project.
I am posting a link in my blog http://letsknitit.blogspot.com

I love the Laurel Burch Fabulous Felines bag -- it reminds me of my own crazy Oliver Orange Kitty -- he's rather fond of knitting, too. (Come to think of it, the bag might keep my projects safely out of his paws' reach...)
I really like this bag: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=19388749
The red and white leafy one pictured in this post is also really cute.

The bags are really cool, however I've fallen in love with the Hawiian Dreams yarn.

I have fallen in love with her Medium Laurel Burch Fabulous Felines bag I love cats and my own kitties have snuggles in that pattern. I love how her bags are priced just right and in the right sizes so you can have one for each project.

I love the KIP Medium Blue Geishas. I am going to have to bookmark this shop to go back get one one for my sister's birthday.
I love all the bags but the handspun Hawaiian dreams yarns really got my attention. At only $7/skein that is a steal!
I love these bags! They are so cute!
Reading this entry, I thought to myself "Why would I need another project bag? I have dozens of plastic and fabric bags at home!" And then I looked. And saw the Small KIP Bag for Sock Knitting in the Knit Pirates fabric.
I'm in love! And the prices really are great! EvergreenCreations.etsy.com
Wow. They are all gorgeous. Great shop!
Ooooh - I love the one in Fabulous Felines - here http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=19429979
I've been wanting one of these for a while but haven't got around to buying one. Maybe I'll win one :)
Lapis Lazuli for me. Blue is my favorite color and I've always loved the stone and the name. But just because that's my favorite doesn't mean there aren't a couple dozen other things I love.
Oh, the fabrics are gorgeous, and I love her Misc. stuff too... the hand dyed yarns are nice too!
There are so many great choices, but I love the Matisse and Flaming Dragons bag.

Ooo - I'd love to have the medium Valentine bag (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=16650605). The merino wool is really pretty too (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=17268912). (Same userid on Ravelry)
The blues, lavendars, reds dye job on the KnitPicks sock yarn really calls to me. I'm also undecided about which bag appeals most, they are all such fun prints.
