Natchwoolie and *Giveaway*

If I were a fiber-producing animal like a pygora goat, I think I would want to live on Natchwoolie's family farm! Natchwoolie specializes in natural, luxury fibers from a no-kill, eco-conscious mixed herd of fine fleeced friends.
Natchwoolie has sent in an absolute treat for all of you handspinners! A lofty blend of 70% Mohair and 30% wool in their natural winter white called "Heaven Sent". The samples looks and feels as if it will float away! I am guessing this blend would make a really nice thinner handspun with a fuzzy halo. Sometimes, when I fondle the commercial mohair yarns, I think "itchy". This fiber sample is so soft!!! I would LOVE to see what a more experienced spinner can do with this! Because you are going to want to buy more when you get this in your box, a generous 20% rebate coupon was included with the sample! Squee! If anyone wants to buy me a 12 month subscription to one of Natchwoolie's many fiber clubs, I'll let you. Ahem... Marcus... oh camera boy... are you listening? A diet high in fiber is good for you, so I think the "Take out" club will suit me just fine. *wink*Natchwoolie is one of the fewer online fiber farms that sell fiber in the grease! Love it! Spinning in the grease will really soften your hands- try it sometime! It makes interesting yarn too- I read on someone's blog- Island Sweet? That they used to buy socks that were made of yarn spun in the grease.
There is so much to talk about in Natchwoolie's shop- but we're having a giveaway so I suppose I'll let some of you coo over the goodies too ;) Natchwoolie is giving away a heavenly 4oz of this frosty winter white Mohair and wool blend!!!!

Contest Details:Please visit Natchwoolie, find something you'd like to discuss and post about it in the comments section below. Tweets and Plurks and blogposts and forum posts get second entries just tell us you did it! MAKE SURE TO LEAVE AN IDENTIFYING MARK. Your Rav id, etsy id, something ;) Drawing will be held Friday A.M.

Oh this mohair blend is soooooo pretty. I love her shop idea of the "take out" in the little take out boxes I wonder if she ships them that way? So cute :)

Gah! GAH!!!

Beth from WhorlingTides sent me a huge handful of fall-over-gorgeous mohair locks, it was the first time that I had seen anything like this was instantly fell in love.

I'm so excited to see that Natchwoolie sells them too!!!! And RAW - I like raw, it allows me to process it myself. I'm going to put Natchwoolie on my favourites list because I can get stuff there that will enhance and embellish my own products.

MMM...take out or sushi? I've never processed my own fiber, but I love the idea of it! And getting some lovely fiber in the mail each month would definitely make me happy! ;)

Definitely going to Twitter this!

Oh my goodness! My goal is to learn to spin this year. I have had a wheel for over a year and a drop spindle for longer. I would love to be the "take out" club. How great would that be to have ready to spin fiber arriving each month to get me off to a flying start on my spinning? Hmmm maybe the Christmas money will go to this worthy cause.

Your naturally dyed fibers are so pretty! I have been wanting to get into dyeing myself, but haven't yet taken the plunge. Maybe someday!

My raverly id is LilChickadee. I tend to lurk a lot, but your contest has lured me out of hiding!

I love the idea of the take out club! And the price is great. As a new spinner I love to be able to try many different fibers withiut spending a ton of money.

I especially love the petit size because I don't need a lot to spin to make me happy! And i love to experiment too

Would it be possible to sometime in the future to offer a 1oz size? maybe call it snack mix or something lol

I had never seen her shop before, and I was impressed! Naturally-dyed wool fascinates me. How can you get all those colors from plants and other earthy things? Raw fleece in reasonable 4 oz. bundles is a good idea.

Ah yes, folks like Natchwoolie are the reason I spend too much time on the web...drooling over other people's creations! Love the plant dyed fiber -- beautiful colors. Your take out club is so fun; such a great idea. Congrats.

Okay - that take out club is precious! I wish I knew more spinners personally because that would be an awesome gift (and I wish people thought the same when thinking of a gift for this spinner).

The pumpkin and gold plant-dyed fiber are gorgeous! I particularly want to roll around in the pumpkin, which is surprising since I don't usually like orange. The raspberry colored fiber for the Steady Dye-It club listing is also scrumptious. I've added natchwoolie as a favorite on Etsy!

Mmmmm...I bought some lovely first clip from Natchwoolie's "Bella" last month, and got a little bag of beautiful white mohair in with it. It is delightfully soft and I can't wait to start making little needle felted sheep with Bella's fleece.

Ok, I have to give in and leave a comment..prize or no. The food references are hilarious...the Steady Dye-it got a good laugh out of me. Taking something that is not fun for chunky folks like me to talk about and making a laugh out of it.
I marked the site, reasonable prices and I am a nerd who LOVES the smell of raw fleece in the morning..betta than coffe!

Lots of lovely stuff. I do like the sushi club--imagine getting fluff every month! and only one payment to rationalize to the bank--but I'm really glad to see you can buy the raw stuff outside the clubs, too, in case you have to quell an immediate craving.

I can feel my fingers itching....

I think the January White Sale appeals to me the most, because I really want to try spinning AND dyeing, so that would let me do both!
